The Plus Bike Concept by Bortolani and Righi stands out as a remarkable innovation in bicycle design, breaking traditional aerodynamic norms with a unique, almost Victorian-inspired upright posture. The bike’s futuristic frame is defined by the “+” symbol, which gives it its name, with the seat post separate from the central frame. Additionally, it features integrated lighting at both the front and rear of the main tube, enhancing its modern aesthetic. While this design may never transition into production or even a prototype, we can’t help but admire the creativity and forward-thinking of Bortolani and Righi for pushing the boundaries of bicycle design.
